Alongside stand-up, Annie is an established comedy actor who started out as one-half of acclaimed double-act Twins with Jack Barry; the duo co-wrote and performed various sketches on ITV2’s @elevenish. Since, Annie has amassed a big online following for her TikTok sketches which have reached over a million views. She has also been nominated for multiple Funny Woman Awards, in 2018, for her comedy short, PanettoneGate; and in 2019 for Baby Shower, which was runner-up for Best Web Series, and part of the official selection for the Pilot Light TV Festival. Annie was commissioned by English Heritage to write and present Have You Met?, a comedy series of educational videos centred around key figures throughout British History.
Annie played Bits in The People We Hate at the Wedding, a FilmNation production for Amazon Studios, acting alongside Kristen Bell and Allison Janney. She also appears in Stephen Merchant’s award-winning comedy drama, The Outlaws (BBC One) and Meet The Richardsons (UKTV Play). After appearing in The Blue Door, a BAFTA-nominated short horror film, Annie was cast as one of the leads in She Talks in Her Sleep, a short horror by the same production company. Further acting credits include Stath Lets Flats (Channel 4), Girls Go Trolling (Channel 4), Grave New World (Prime Video), Razor Sharp (Channel 4) and The Joy of Missing Out (Channel 4).
As a comedy writer, Annie has written for The Jonathan Ross Show (ITV), as well as on multiple series of the award-winning panel show, A League of Their Own (Sky), working with England legend and Queen of the Jungle, Jill Scott. Annie has also written on all three series of Fantasy Football League (Sky) with Matt Lucas and Elis James.
An Arsenal fan, and a keen follower of the women’s game, Annie appeared as a guest on Sky Sports’ Good Morning Euros show ahead of the Lionesses victory in 2022, and was interviewed on BBC News during the Women’s World Cup in 2023. She also co-hosted a daily web series with Lou Sanders during the 2018 Men’s World Cup, called From Russia With Lou & Annie. Annie appears in the new hit comedy podcast, Dial F For Football, and has acted in numerous sketches for Sky Sports’ cult show Soccer AM.
Aside from comedy, Annie is also a talented artist and host of Secret Artists podcast, which has been recommended by The Times, Evening Standard, The Guardian, iNews, Esquire, and The Art Newspaper. Annie curated the 2019 exhibition, Art is the Best Medicine, which featured artwork by fellow comedians – including Jenny Eclair, Joe Lycett, Vic Reeves, and many more.
